Bio For the past several years, Rikki Leigh Heard has dedicated her time and effort in pursuing a career in the music industry. At the young age of twelve, she began singing in church, and over a course of three years began singing in various opry houses in Texas. The Johnnie High Country Music Review, the Charlie Pruitt Show, the Carthage Country Music Hayride, the Liberty Opry, the Pleasant Jamboree, and the East Texas Jamboree are some of the oprys where Rikki Leigh has performed. Eventually she was asked to travel to several states to open shows for nationally known comedian, Willie P. Richardson. She is currently a student at Stephen F. Austin State University and promoting her first album, "Somewhere In Texas," a CD that is a combination of a unique voice and traditional Texas and country music.
